MAILROOM – PRINTING REPRODUCTION ASSISTANT MANAGER
This position requires a working knowledge of bulk mail, mailroom, printing operations, and knowledge of postal regulations. Must be able to read and comprehend the regulations of the US Postal Service on Domestic and Foreign mail.
Essential Duties:
Processing, distributing, and collecting incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Stocking supplies, copy/printer paper, and distributing to various departments on campus
Operate and stock printers, faxes, and network copiers,
Sort and prepare packages of bulk mail, sort mailing of various types and automate sorting for letters
Operates as a back-up for the Manager of Mailroom and Printing Services
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
One-year experience with bulk mail operations, producing digital mailing meters and accompanying software
A valid Driver's License, with a satisfactory driving record
Knowledge of current postal regulations, computer skills, and accurately enter mailing data
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided
Ability to push and maneuver loaded carts weighing approximately. 650 lbs.
