NIC Industries and one of its brands, Prismatic Powders, a leader in the powder coating industry, is looking for a Production Technician to help fulfill customer orders and produce high-quality powder coating products. Currently we offer two shifts 4am-12:30 M-F, and 12:30-11pm M-Th.
What You’ll Do:
As a Production Technician, you’ll be hands-on in our manufacturing process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Operating production equipment
- Packaging and labeling finished products
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of your work area
- Consistently fulfill 15–20 colors orders per hour
- Following work orders and priorities to meet deadlines
You'll also assist with tasks like refilling raw materials, identifying process improvements, and supporting special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for long periods
- Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a loud production environment
- Experience with inventory management is a plus
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening, including testing for THC (marijuana)
