Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for serving legal documents to individuals and organizations in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various environments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Serve legal documents such as summons, complaints, subpoenas, and other court-related papers to designated recipients.
- Ensure proper documentation of service including completing affidavits and maintaining accurate records.
- File legal documents with the appropriate courts as required.
- Act as a courier for transporting legal documents between clients, courts, and other relevant parties.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of local laws and regulations regarding process serving.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of service and any challenges encountered.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in legal studies or related fields is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Familiarity with filing procedures and legal terminology is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between locations.
- Previous experience as a process server or in a related field is an advantage but not required.

Pay: $24.12 - $29.05 per hour
