Product Designer Responsibilities
- Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web-based applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and design.
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and provide high-quality shareable components and patterns to product teams.
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors.
- Work with designers across the company to ensure solutions utilize and help evolve the design system.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, Digital Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation.
- Requires 24 months of experience in the following:
- 1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms
- 2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, with consideration of how innovation will scale across different product areas
- 3. Prototyping to demonstrate how a particular pattern will function across different products
- 4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography and how these impact product function across different product areas
- 5. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
- 6. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
- 7. Defining product specifications and user experiences
- 8. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
- 9. Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
- 10. Designing, using, or working with design systems

$219,398/year to $266,420/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
