About The Team:
This team is dedicated to building best-in-class safety systems for TikTok’s emerging content formats. Our mission is to reduce risk prevalence across Photo and Effect surfaces while minimizing costs and avoiding unnecessary content overkill. In this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the evolution of TikTok’s Photo and Effect ecosystem. This position offers unparalleled experience in the Trust and Safety domain, providing deep insights into end-to-end safety features and strategies. You’ll work closely with R&D and Algorithm teams to enhance moderation models, collaborate with global operations to optimize human review processes, and partner with policy teams to explore and shape platform policy iterations. Positioned at the forefront of industry practices in trust and safety, your contributions will play a critical role in safeguarding billions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities:
- Drive complex projects independently, define the safety product roadmap, set success metrics that inform the success of safety efforts, and partner across the organization to develop action plans;
- Focus on mitigating risks associated with photo-text posts while balancing risk coverage and enhancing creator experiences;
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, operations as well as cross-functional partners, to establish a workflow to critically analyze, prioritize, and drive cross-functional efforts to achieve success;
- Develop a robust workflow for cross-team collaboration, manage large-scale product improvement projects to improve community safety.
