Part-Time Operations & Order Fulfillment Assistant (August through Dec 2025 with option to continue in 2026)
Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
Hours: 10–20 hrs/week (Aug–Oct), increasing to 15–40 hrs/week (Nov–Dec 20). Must be available between 8 am and 6 pm for most of these hours. Must be available on at least one weekend day per week.

Do you love hands-on work, mystical and/or scented products, and tackling to-do lists like a boss? Are you organized enough to wrangle a chaotic creative type?
We're a small mystical home-based brand looking for a super-organized, detail-loving, physically capable assistant to help with production, packing, shipping, and general operations through the 2025 holiday season — and possibly beyond.
This is not a desk job. You’ll be mixing fragrance, packing products, fulfilling orders, managing inventory, cleaning, and running the kind of logistical errands that keep a small business humming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Make, pack, and ship fragrance and gift products with precision, care, and beauty.
- Inventory Management: Unbox, label, count, organize, and track incoming and outgoing goods.
- Production Support: Mix fragrance, bottle items, assemble ritual kits and jewelry, label and prep products.
- Workspace Management: Keep the home-based workspace spotless, organized, with everything labeled and all systems running smoothly.
- Cleaning and Organization : Manage business-housekeeping management tasks, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the workspace. Clean-up and washing chemistry tools, business-area organization.
- English Reading and Writing, Needed to locate products quickly and fill orders even quicker- so reading and writing mineral or flower names you may not have heard of before are required.
- Some Math: is useful: This is for weighing/pricing minerals.
- Errands: Occasional shipping runs, returns, or supply pickups. (Valid driver’s license required.)
- Social Media: Recording video content as you pack orders. No need to show your face on camera (just your hands) but it's a bonus if you're comfortable with it!
- Light Household Management: Taking in the mail, making sure the owner doesn't miss key deadlines, etc

- Work well independently, learns quickly, and can stay focused without constant supervision.
- Like working with your hands and don’t mind being on your feet.
- Have great attention to detail (ie customer names and product order fulfillment) and take pride in your work- packing/wrapping and handwriting names, for instance.
- Are flexible, adaptable, and happy to assist a creative boss who doesn’t always think linearly.
- Proactive Problem-Solver: You can anticipate needs and offer solutions. You're comfortable working independently and alone without constant oversight.
- Are trustworthy, organized, reliable. Speedy yet precise!
- Are available and dependable through the busy holiday season (especially November–December)
- Don’t mind working in a garage or being around fragrance, herbs, oils, and two small and hilariously cute but quirky dogs.
Experience is Not Required — but this job isn’t for everyone.
