Production Robotics Operator

Due to our continued success and growth in our manufacturing operations, we are looking for a Robotics Production Operator to join our team in Fairfield, Ohio. This role is ideal for a hardworking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a rapidly expanding company and further their career in an advanced manufacturing environment that includes automation and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring automated and robotic production equipment, including robotic arms, bagging machines, and other integrated systems.
• Loading and unloading materials and components onto robotic cells and automated lines, ensuring a continuous flow of production.
• Performing routine visual inspections and quality checks on products processed by robotic systems to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshooting minor operational issues and escalating complex problems to senior operators or maintenance personnel.
• Assisting with the setup and calibration of robotic equipment and automated machinery as needed.
• Maintaining accurate production records and logs, including machine performance and output data.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the robotic production area, adhering to 5S principles.
• Strictly complying with all Work Instructions, Safety, and Quality systems and procedures in their area, with a strong emphasis on medical device manufacturing standards.
• Collaborating effectively with Fulfillment Operators, Inventory Operators, and other production team members to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

• Relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally with exposure to automated machinery or robotics.
• Experience with ABB industrial robots
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in learning about robotic systems and automation.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and accurate machine operation.
• Good problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing minor operational issues quickly.
• Computer literacy for monitoring machine interfaces and logging data.
• A self-motivated individual who can work independently but is also a strong team player.
• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and learn new technologies.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and quality guidelines.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• BSc or similar in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering/technical field is required, or demonstrated experience in those fields.
