Our Coastal Southeast Service Center or regional manufacturing facility is adding a Production Scheduler to the team. This will be an on-site position based out of our Orlando, Florida location.

What would you do as our Production Scheduler?
You’ll assist in coordinating daily production schedules and support various departments to make sure orders flow through the facility efficiently.
You will also:
- Help prepare and release daily production schedules for MOD, stock, welding, and specialty runs to ensure timely and efficient workflow across departments
- Track delayed or back-ordered items and alert the operations team when needed to avoid bottlenecks
- Work with Engineering to release held orders and resolve technical delays; proactively escalate recurring issues impacting throughput
- Participate in daily production meetings to review order status and upcoming priorities
- Learn to analyze shop capacity and production readiness to maximize equipment and labor utilization across manufacturing departments
- Help to manage inter-company production orders from scheduling to closure, ensuring alignment with broader workflow and material availability
- Help prepare production packets (instructions, drawings, templates, labels, etc.) for the shop floor
- Support other teams (Estimating and Order Entry) during busy periods
- Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compliant work environment by supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations, company policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Skills and Experience You Need:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, scheduling, or operations support role
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up and a high comfort level balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a willingness to be hands-on and take initiative to prioritize and expedite orders on the shop floor, evaluate capabilities to make customer changes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in learning production processes and how different departments work together
- Familiarity with reading blueprints or engineering drawings is a plus (not required)
