Job Summary:
White House Health Systems (WHHS) seeks a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee operations at the Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU). The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and supervision of comprehensive services to clients, ensuring delivery of medical, counseling, vocational, and recreational programming in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational mission.
This dynamic role includes direct staff supervision, training, and client advocacy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of behavioral health services and demonstrate the ability to foster therapeutic and structured environments. On-call availability and strong organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all RCSU services, including medical appointments, educational planning, and living arrangements.
- Supervise the implementation of structured daily programming and therapeutic activities.
- Facilitate and review client treatment plans, monthly progress reports, and counseling documentation.
- Provide mentorship to clients in developing social, daily living, and self-regulation skills.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and mentor house managers in behavior management techniques.
- Act as the primary liaison for case managers, families, schools, probation officers, and referring agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, facilitate onboarding, and support ongoing staff development.
- Develop and maintain treatment teams to monitor and respond to client behavior and treatment progression.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance reporting, supply inventory, and office operations.
- Ensure compliance with DBHDS regulations, ethical standards, and internal licensing protocols.
- Prepare staff schedules, assist in intake and admission coordination
- Interview, hire, and supervise program staff while maintaining positive team morale and client-centered services.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, special education, human services, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct residential behavioral health experience serving adults with developmental disabilities (DD), mental illness, substance abuse, or intellectual disabilities (ID), as specified in 12 VAC 35-105-420.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Medication Management, Restraint Techniques training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
- Other Requirements: Valid DMV license, reliable transportation, active cell phone. Must maintain a checking/saving account for payroll purposes.
