STV is seeking a Project Controls Manager - Education, Aviation Sectors to join the Construction Manager group in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project controls strategies, including cost management, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators, and provide data-driven insights.
- Oversee budget tracking, cost forecasting, and change management processes.
- Ensure adherence to project reporting requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules and cost reports.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.
- Utilize project management information systems (PMIS) such as e-Builder, Kahua, or Primavera P6.
- Provide training and mentorship to project staff on project controls processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project controls, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or scheduling for infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and cost management tools.
- Experience working with PMIS platforms such as e-Builder, Kahua, or Unifier.
- Knowledge of project controls standards, reporting requirements, and best practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
