Job Description
Position Summary:
The Program Management Assistant will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day logistics and sample handling tasks. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure accurate tracking, handling, and delivery of smartphone prototypes and engineering samples.
This is a support role, ideal for someone detail-oriented and reliable, with strong communication and coordination skills. The role is part-time and onsite, offering consistent support for ongoing project and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Handling & Inventory:
- Maintain organized inventory of engineering and test samples
- Track incoming and outgoing devices using internal tools or spreadsheets
- Ensure devices are properly labeled, catalogued, and stored
- Shipping & Logistics:
- Prepare and pack samples for domestic and international shipments
- Coordinate courier pickups and monitor tracking to ensure timely delivery
- Manage customs/shipping documentation as needed for international logistics
- Device Setup & Configuration:
- Assist in initial setup of sample devices (e.g., software flashing, SIM setup, accessory pairing)
- Perform basic functional checks if required (e.g., power on, UI check)
- Communication & Coordination:
- Interface with internal stakeholders to confirm sample needs, destinations, and delivery status
- Escalate delays or issues promptly to the Program Manager
- Update tracking logs and notify recipients of shipments and arrivals
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Strong attention to detail, especially in tracking and labeling
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Basic computer literacy (Excel/Google Sheets, email, shipping platforms)
- Ability to lift and move small packages/devices as part of daily work
- Must be able to work onsite independently without close supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or device/sample handling
- Familiarity with consumer electronics or smartphone hardware
- Experience working in a tech or product development/test environment
Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 3 days per week (weekdays), 4 hours per day
- Type: Part-Time, Onsite
Pay Range: $25.00-35.00/ hour
