Job Details:

Tyson Foods, Inc. has an opening for a Project Manager in Springdale, AR. Strategically oversee the planning, implementation, and introduction of data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs while delivering desired outcomes within budget. Proactively identify and address potential risks, managing project tracking through clear and concise status reports. Be directly responsible for project budgets and resources, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and within scope. Assemble project staff, manage personnel administration, and oversee indirect resources, including consulting resources. Serve as a central point of contact for functional managers, collaborating with end users and business unit managers to support applications and projects. Provide accurate and timely project/team status reports to management, the Steering Committee, and the Project Management Office (PMO). Manage vendors, review billings, and ensure the integrity of deliverables. Define acceptability criteria with project customers/users, guiding and overseeing all project team members in their tasks. Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, ensuring adherence to defined project management methodologies and PMO processes using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical staff to ensure seamless project execution. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes, promoting a collaborative team environment. Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Manage the technical aspects of project deliverables, ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability. Select and implement appropriate data analytics tools and technologies that align with project requirements. Ensure the effective use of software development methodologies and tools, including version control, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of experience in project management and software life cycle management.
