Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Remote)
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted PMHNP License in Iowa
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience treating psychiatric disorders with antidepressants, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers
- DEA licensed.
Responsibilities:
- Part-time telemedicine contractor (1099) work. No in-person requirements. Flexible hours.
- Assess, diagnose and treat psychiatric and substance abuse-related disorders
- Deliver high-quality telepsychiatry care
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patients seen, including follow-up and referrals, in the electronic medical record
- When necessary, order and interpret diagnostic labs and/or other testing
