Elevated Hope Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate staff to join our team in a Residential Group Home setting. This role is focused on providing supervision, care, and support to youth in a safe and structured environment.
Job Summary
The House Manager/QP is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a therapeutic group home setting, for youth and adolescents with mental health needs. This role involves supervising staff, managing Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), interacting with families, coordinating healthcare providers, schools and maintaining compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all operations of the home.
- Develop and monitor Person-Centered Plans for residents.
- Establish and Implement Clinical Supervision Plans for Direct Care Staff and provide them oversight, guidance and direction to ensure quality delivery of care to residents.
- Provide leadership and supervision to direct care staff.
- Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents.
- Coordinate resident care, including medical appointments and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain compliance with licensing standards and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Youth with MH and/or Intellectual or Developmental Disability needs.
- Proven experience in operations management in group home., day program or other person-centered services setting.
- Having prior QP (Qualified Professional) experience in an IDD/Mental Health facility or group home. * (QP experience is mandatory)
- Strong group home management /house manager skills with a track record of successful performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people are essential.
- Must successfully pass Criminal Background Check (Fingerprints required for persons who have resided in NC less than 5 years)
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a human services; advanced degree preferred.
Duties
- Provide direct support to youth in various settings, including home care and community environments.
- Supervise DSP Staff & maintain staff scheduling.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to create Person-Centered Plans.
- Participate in all Treatment Team Meetings
- Review all Progress Notes to ensure accuracy and compliance & write a monthly summary note on each resident.
- Manage the home's operational needs; groceries, maintenance, supplies, etc.
- Ensure the Administration of medication is done properly and documented as required, ensuring compliance with health protocols.
- Oversee meal planning & preparation, promoting healthy eating habits among youth.
- Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and development.
- Maintain clean and organized environments for youth activities and care.
- Facilitate recreational and educational activities that promote social skills and personal growth.
- Monitor the well-being of youth, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel.
- House Managers also rotate on-call responsibilities and are expected to work direct support professional hours as a working supervisor.

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: Minimum 40 per week
