About the Role

As the Quality Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in driving product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing site. You will lead and develop the laboratory team, ensure efficient lab operations, and act as the key quality liaison across supply chain functions. This role is responsible for the daily release of finished goods, the resolution of non-compliance issues, and the execution of quality systems that support plant performance. You'll also play a key role in sanitation verification, innovation support, specification management, and regulatory readiness, stepping in as the Quality Manager when needed.

What You'll Do

In this hands-on role, you'll manage the daily operations of the quality lab, ensure team coverage, and support personnel development. You'll lead quality initiatives that align with plant strategy, coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve quality issues, and support sanitation verification and FSSC compliance. Your responsibilities include auditing and maintaining SOPs, managing the HACCP program, supporting innovation trials, and partnering with R&D on plant testing and scale-ups. You'll analyze customer complaints and product holds, monitor raw material losses, and serve as the site's point of contact during regulatory inspections. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you'll promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while driving World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and sustainability objectives.

About You

You are a detail-oriented and adaptable professional with the flexibility to work days, off-shifts, and weekends as needed to meet factory demands. With a bachelor's degree in microbiology, engineering, food science, or a related field, you bring at least 3 years of experience in Quality departments or laboratory environments. You have a proven track record leading quality initiatives in complex manufacturing settings, including factory expansions and change management. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build effective relationships across functions and drive collaboration. You're highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools and ideally have hands-on experience with lab methods, food safety standards, GMP, micro sampling, and lab equipment. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing conflict with professionalism and fostering an inclusive culture while driving innovation, accuracy, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
