MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma. A good knowledge of general office practice, general office machines, and computer knowledge.
COMPETENCE FACTORS: Must have good verbal and written communication skills, ability to organize and plan, be skilled in information management, and portray a professional demeanor (in both appearance and behavior.) Knowledge of customer service and reliability is a requirement.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet visitors and consumers in a pleasant manner.
- Answer telephones, and direct calls, by screening incoming calls and reporting, “who is calling” to appropriate staff.
Send email with detailed message if staff is not available.
- Assist staff in preparing for meetings/social activities
- Attend outreaches in community as directed by Executive Director
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Stamp, date, and deliver mail daily after entering it in the mail log
- Prepare outgoing letters and documents for mail pickup.
- Sort, file, and upload documents upon request.
- Provide general clerical support as needed.
- Provide delivery and pickup of needed items outside of the office
- Reliable transportation, good driving record, and current auto insurance
- Maintain confidentiality. HIPAA compliance is compulsory
- Performs duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Immediate Supervisor.
