Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a full-time, reliable dispatcher to join our team. The dispatcher is responsible for communicating effectively between customers and service technicians to schedule work orders in a timely manner. If you’re someone with great communication skills and the ability to facilitate a positive experience for customers, we would love to speak with you about this opportunity.
Essential Skills:
- Answer phones and dispatch technicians to the appropriate location.
- Contact the customer to inform them that the technician is on the way.
- Go through and record data for overnight calls and calls that came in over the weekend.
- Follow up with yearly customers.
- Contact customers to schedule/reschedule appointments.
- Update job process as it moves through the system.
- Assists with other departments, as necessary.
- Demonstrates and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the company.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Possess the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, such as, external vendors, business contacts, existing customers, and potential customers.
- Continually looks for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
- Continually strives to improve personal performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Geographical knowledge of the service area and map reading skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
