About the role
The Regional Capital System Manager leads the end-to-end engineering and capital strategy across multiple manufacturing sites within the region. This role is accountable for delivering capital projects that enable faster time-to-market, cost efficiencies, and sustained business value. The Manager is a key strategic partner across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Global Capital Teams, ensuring engineering compliance, construction safety, and continuous improvement of capital systems and processes.

- Using 14,500 packaging components and 2,000 raw materials from over 2,000 vendors
- 20000 SKUs to more than 100 markets in 14 Business Units
- Portfolio of consumer centric products across 35 distinct technology groups
- Complexity of 4000 formulations meeting different regulatory requirements with 13000 licenses
- Network of 150 distribution centers.
Key responsibilities

Strategic Engineering & Capital Leadership
- Own the engineering strategy across the region, from concept through execution, to drive business growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Define and lead the zero-loss journey map and develop site master plans aligned to business goals, with clear linkage between depreciation and benefit streams, including waste reduction.
- Deliver strategic outcomes through engineering and capital investment: cost reduction, time-to-market acceleration, capacity unlocks, and technology modernization.

Capital System Management & Metrics
- Develop, define, and track capital performance KPIs (e.g., spend accuracy, % depreciation vs. savings, ROI, utilization).
- Lead monthly Regional Capital Leadership Reviews, presenting portfolio performance, risks, and compliance status to executive stakeholders.
- Benchmark internal and external capital project performance to identify best practices and accelerate improvement.
- Ensure engineering and project compliance to internal standards, regulatory requirements, and financial controls.

Construction Safety & Engineering Compliance
- Own construction safety strategy and execution across regional projects.
- Implement and uphold consistent engineering and construction safety standards across all capital activities.
- Proactively audit and track engineering compliance and corrective actions across sites.

Leadership, Governance, and Network Building
- Lead the Regional Capital Management Network, aligning site capital owners, engineering teams, and finance partners.
- Serve as the regional liaison to global capital teams, driving alignment

Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving capital project processes and outcomes.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project performance.

Training and Development
- Develop and deliver capability building programs for project engineers and managers.
- Drive understanding of the capital management and the project management framework to all approvers and practitioners.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
- 5 years of experience in managing capital projects with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale capital projects.
- Excellent budgeting and financial management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in capital/project management planning and tracking processes and tools.
Preferred

- Global mindset, entrepreneurship mindset, business insight, resilient & assertive.
