Regional Facilities Manager
Position Summary:
The Regional Facilities Manager will oversee the interior and exterior physical condition of all the properties within their Region including all maintenance projects, inspections, and vendor communications. The qualified candidate will be committed to providing leadership and developing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs and monitor each site for compliance.
- Represent self and property in a professional manner with residents, visitors, and fellow coworkers. Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Conduct property inspections on a regular basis to ensure all work is done properly and safely within the designated timeframe.
- Stay informed regarding governmental regulations and restrictions concerning maintenance procedures pertaining to health, safety, and environment.
- Work closely with Regional Operations Manager for all team member management including hiring, performance expectations, terminations, and annual reviews.
- Manage and utilize vendors that are approved, licensed, and insured.
- Participate in MRD Apartment University training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum one-year Multifamily property maintenance experience.
- High school or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Able to work nights and weekends and be available for on call shifts.
- Capable of lifting 50lbs.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able and eager to embody MRD Apartments Core Values daily.
