Position Summary:
This is a full-time (academic year appointment) tenure-track position for the College of Laws Moscow location, at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Rank and tenure are negotiable based on how the candidate meets the criteria outlined in department and college bylaws. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching tax or civil procedure and another related course, or courses, determined in consultation with the dean. The faculty member will be expected to develop mentoring relationships with law students, advise students on curricular and co-curricular activities, and develop a scholarly, outreach, and engagement agenda that will enrich the scholarly and legal communities and those they serve. The faculty member will also represent the law school through participation in scholarly conferences, as well as through publication in national and/or international scholarly journals, which may include interdisciplinary placements. The faculty member will also attend faculty meetings and serve on committees at the University and/or College level.

Minimum Education/Degree Required:

Required Qualifications:
- A J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent
- Teaching experience, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A record of excellence in scholarship, or related experience
- At least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience
- Expertise in the area of tax law or civil procedure law.
