WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Operates tools and machinery within the repair shop to provide ski and snowboard repairs, waxing, mounting, and boot work
- Assists rentals in providing guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting and selling of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories
- Maintain high level of attention to detail and safety
- Preform maintenance on ski and snowboard gear
- Fit Boots, Skis, Snowboards and/or Poles to guest satisfaction
- Ensure guests are well-equipped for a day on the mountain by providing them with helpful direction.
- Remain current on new industry products and trends while demonstrating knowledge of products
- Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedure
- Maintain rental fleet and inventory accountability
- Assist with tracking equipment and inventory regularly
- Assist management with prevention of theft, both internally and externally
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO THE JOB?
- Experience and ability work with powered machinery and tools in a safe and professional manner
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures and manuals
- Drive in accordance with the law and Snowbasin Resort policies; safe driving record
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?
- Cash handling experience
- Knowledge of current industry products and trends
- Advanced ski/snowboard level
- Experience with equipment tuning and repair
- Experience with power machinery and tools
