The Enterprise Innovation Institute is Georgia Tech's economic development arm, comprised of more than a dozen programs. It's the largest and most comprehensive university-based program of its kind in the United States. Its core focus areas include entrepreneurship and startup development, business and industry growth, ecosystem development, and international outreach.
Partnership for Innovation (PIN) Department
The Partnership for Innovation (PIN) is a public-private partnership that launched in 2020 to lead coordinated, statewide efforts to position Georgia as the Technology Capital of the East Coast. Dedicated to advancing technology, opportunity and shared economic success across the state, the organization¿s pillars focus on community research, student engagement, workforce development and economic opportunity towards inclusion one innovation at a time.

The Workforce Development pillar aims to cultivate a robust talent ecosystem and foster connectivity across public, private, and non-profit sectors. The PIN Fellowship supports this mission by identifying and empowering the next generation of innovative leaders in Georgia and the Southeast. The program helps early, mid, and late career professionals navigate their career paths, strengthen their skill sets, gain experience and build social capital to excel in their respective fields. Location
The primary office location will be determined by the needs, policies, and preferences of the PIN Fellowship employer (site host). Applicants selected as Fellows may be assigned to in-person, hybrid, and/or remote work arrangements. Fellows accepted into the program will be assigned to various worksites, including locations in the Metro Atlanta area and throughout the state of Georgia.
Job Summary
Serving within The Institute, these one-year limited-term Fellow roles support Georgia Tech's economic development mission for the State of Georgia. Candidates accepted
into the PIN Fellowship will receive financial support from the Partnership for Innovation (PIN).
This year-long fellowship engages early-career professionals in two six-month rotations across different sectors. The Fellowship provides opportunities for early-career professionals to gain experience in key growth industries while fostering the next generation of innovators who will drive innovation and build bridges between the public and private sectors.
In addition to gaining valuable work experience, Fellows have access to professional and career development events, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Compose routine correspondence; prepare and route correspondence, reports and other documentation.
Job Duty 2 - Respond to customer questions or concerns.
Job Duty 3 - Perform other duties as assigned
Job Duty 4 - Compile and organize data for use in reports.
Job Duty 5 - Schedule and make arrangements for meetings and other events.
Job Duty 6 - Make travel arrangements for unit staff management and staff as directed.
Job Duty 5 - Maintain office supplies inventory.
Job Duty 6 - Maintain filing system.
Job Duty 7 -Receive and refer phone calls; greet and direct office visitors.
Job Duty 8 - Gather pertinent information regarding customer service needs.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Other Required Qualifications
Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed, potentially including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Experience
Up to two years of job-related experience
Other Information
The fellowship is structured for 30 hours per week, with an additional 10 hours per week dedicated to personal and professional development.
Fellows are matched with two employers (one public and one private) and assigned to one of four industry verticals: AI Manufacturing, IT & Cybersecurity, Digital Literacy & Connectivity, AgTech, Supply Chain & Logistics, FinTech, and Cleantech.
