Registered Nurse, Staffing Pool

Job Overview:
This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide staffing coverage across various medical units within a healthcare system. The role requires adaptability and the ability to operate effectively in different clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administering medical care, including medication, clinical treatments, and specimen collection.
Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records.
Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.
Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as hygiene and ambulation.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers and discharges.
Educating patients and their families on health-related matters.
Serving as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements:
A current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
An associate degree in nursing from an accredited school. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP).
