This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who thrive in varied environments and are eager to expand their clinical expertise across multiple units, including med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac care. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care while growing your skills in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nursing interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Accurately document patient care and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and their families.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Educate patients and families on their health needs in a way that is appropriate for their age, culture, and condition.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of all patients.
Requirements
- A current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- An associate degree in nursing from an accredited program is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- One year of nursing experience is preferred.
