About this role:
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and protocols. This role will lead the creation of essential safety documents—including the company Safety Manual, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and Incident Reports—and will build a strong culture of safety across traveling installation crews and Insane Impact Headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa. The Safety Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory compliance, training, inspections, and incident investigations. Travel to job sites across the United States will be required.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in construction, rigging, live events, or mechanical/electrical installation.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to cranes, aerial lifts, powered industrial trucks, and fall protection.
- Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed (20–30%).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Safety certifications (OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, forklift operator trainer, or similar)
Travel:
- Up to 30% Required
Salary:
- Between $75,000 and $90,000 depending on experience.

Work Environment:
- Ability to work at heights of 45’ or more required
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds required
- Ability to walk on uneven terrain and climb ladders and scaffolding required
- Exposure to construction environments required
- Position will be based at IIHQ
