Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Salad Station Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh salads and ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation. You will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the salad station area.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of fresh salads according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food items are prepared, stored, and served in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the salad station, including utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Operate cash registers accurately, processing customer transactions efficiently.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of salad ingredients and notify management when supplies are low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and processing transactions.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques related to salad preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
