Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer
Job Summary:
- Develop and customize web applications on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to meet business requirements and enhance overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement eCommerce solutions, including storefront customization, product catalog management, and order management.
- Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing platforms, to support end-to-end eCommerce operations.
- Utilize DevOps principles and tools to automate and streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of SFCC applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SFCC web development, eCommerce functionality, and backend support, ensuring high availability and performance of the platform.
- Provide expert backend support for SFCC, including server-side development, data management, and integrations, to optimize platform stability and performance.
- Monitor and maintain the performance and scalability of SFCC backend components, optimizing database queries, caching strategies, and server configurations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot product support tickets related to backend functionality, addressing issues such as order processing, inventory management, and system integrations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand their support needs, provide timely resolutions, and offer proactive recommendations for backend improvements.
- Contribute to the documentation of backend support processes, best practices, and knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) web development, including SiteGenesis, SFRA, and SFCC APIs.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce principles, including product management, shopping cart functionality, and order processing.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
