Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Spa Coordinator. The Spa Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our salon and spa clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, technical sales knowledge, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the spa/salon
- Schedule appointments and manage the spa's booking system
- Provide information to clients about available spa services and packages
- Assist with retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain stock levels of spa products and supplies
- Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Perform basic math calculations to calculate prices, discounts, and tips
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the spa/salon reception area
-Maintain fresh spa water as needed.
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge about spa services and retail items offered to better assist guests.
-Educate guests on spa products, services and assist guests with retail selections.
-Support sales goals as outlined by leadership
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in salon/spa is preferred. Aveda knowledge a huge plus!
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with stock management procedures is desirable
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and tips accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
