We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Satellite Clinic Manager to join our leadership team and support our growing network of clinics in Boron, West Palmdale, and Lancaster.
Position Overview:
The Satellite Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple satellite clinics located across the Greater Antelope Valley region, including Boron, West Palmdale, and Lancaster. This position ensures that all clinical activities are delivered in a safe, efficient, and patient-centered manner aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Bartz-Altadonna Community Health Center (BACHC).
The manager is expected to maintain a consistent on-site presence, spending approximately one full week per month at each clinic to provide hands-on leadership, staff support, and operational oversight. As part of their daily responsibilities, the manager will lead team huddles at each site to align staff, review the day’s schedule, and foster a proactive culture focused on anticipating and meeting provider and patient needs. The manager is responsible for promoting a standard of care team preparedness, ensuring that all staff are organized, equipped, and ready to support providers before the start of each clinic day
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple satellite clinics, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Rotate consistently between clinics, spending a minimum of one week per month at each site.
- Supervise and support front office and clinical support staff.
- Collaborate with medical providers and nursing leaders to maintain efficient workflows and patient care standards.
- Respond to operational challenges and patient concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor staffing, scheduling, and training needs in partnership with HR and the Director of Nursing and Clinic Operations.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure accurate EHR documentation and effective clinic workflows.
- Support inventory and supply management processes across sites.
· Maintain a regular monthly rotation across the four satellite clinics, ensuring physical presence and operational oversight for at least one week per month per site.
· Conduct daily morning huddles with clinic teams to align on patient flow, address any issues or resource gaps, and ensure preparedness for the day.
· Foster a culture of proactive support, emphasizing readiness and team coordination to anticipate provider needs and reduce delays or inefficiencies.
· Promote staff accountability in pre-visit planning and provider prep to ensure smooth and efficient clinic experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare operations experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Prior FQHC experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks a plus).
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (travel required up to 100%).
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Meet with and Report to Leadership once a month.
