About this role:
The SBA Operations Administrator is responsible for the loan packaging, closing and post-closing processes following Bank and SBA Standard Operating Procedures.
In this role you will:
- Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be”.
- Reviews and ensures the accuracy and completeness of the loan application, all packaging documents, satisfaction of credit terms and conditions, and compliance with SOP.
- Handles the input and upload of loan data for GP and PLP submission; uploads required documents to ETran and monitors for status of SBA approvals; submits requests for modification of Authorization to SBA.
- Manages the information flow with Bank and SBA counsel and others involved in the process.
- Reviews sign closing packages for accuracy, ensures all outstanding closing conditions have been cleared, and follows up for corrections or to obtain missing documentation.
- Ensures that all collateral liens are perfected.
- Tracks all multi-disbursement loan advances obtaining all supporting documentation necessary to maintain SBA compliance with disbursements.
- Ensures timely submission of all 1502 reporting and maintains the Colson Dashboard.
- Posts SBA payments, advances, rate changes, prepare payoff’s and balance the GL and monitor the GFD
Must haves:
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations.
- Knowledge of SBA loan closing, documentation procedures, and SBA SOP.
- Knowledge of processing underwriting and/or closing procedures/federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
- Familiarity with Bank security and safety practices.
Bonus Points For:
- Strong “People First” interest and ability.
- Knowledge of SBA reporting procedures (1502 Reporting).
