Regeneron's Assay Development Group (ADG), located in Tarrytown, NY, is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the team. The ADG in Bioanalytical sciences develops preclinical and clinical assays to support pipeline of protein biotherapeutics and gene therapies. In this role, you will develop novel assays and support ongoing work, sample preparation, assay runs, data processing ensuring compliance with current GxP guidance documentation.
A Typical Day in the Role of Scientist Might Look Like:
- Learning new methods and/or technologies relevant to various projects
- Planning, initiating, and completing the following types of biochemical, molecular biology
- (PCR-based), and immune-based assays, ELISAs, etc in a laboratory setting
- Accurately detailing findings and lab records in an electronic laboratory notebook
- Able to perform multiple assays within the same day and works on multiple projects simultaneously
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for the development of assays using new formats or techniques.
- Maintain GLP compliance for all laboratory work and documentation related to assay validations in accordance with FDA regulations and company SOPs
- Routinely present data in formal and informal meetings

To be considered for this role, the individual must have Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or a related field with 8+ years of proven experience. Hands-on knowledge in with novel protein and molecular biology assays and a proven understanding of additional methodologies to assess novel drug platforms. Prior experience in gene therapies and/or bioanalytical assay platform development is highly desirable.
