Job Description

As a Security Professional - Education Site - Afternoon Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses to incidents, and maintaining detailed records of security-related activities. You will be the central point of contact for incoming calls and requests, helping to direct resources and information as needed. By remaining attentive and responsive, you will help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to the campus community. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
• Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and emergencies, maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related staff to relay information and provide support during incidents and/or critical situations.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures, following established protocols for the education environment.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and requests from students, staff, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating with appropriate personnel and external agencies when required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence through communication and monitoring systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
