What’s the Role?
At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing world-class support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Global Compensation Team.
The Global Compensation Team is responsible for all aspects of compensation including program design, strategy, funding, metrics, regulatory compliance, controls, analysis, reporting and tools. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to deliver a unique blend of financial and operational analysis for a fast-paced and technology based financial services business.
We’ll Trust You To:
- Create and maintain enterprise-wide compensation reporting and analysis to provide business insights and support decision making
- Produce regulatory compliance deliverables globally including compiling and submitting reports, surveys, questionnaires, and filings while ensuring timely compliance in accordance with local regulations
- Develop and maintain models and analyses to aid in the validation of financial forecasts and for special projects
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of processes, streamline collection, use, and presentation of data
- Support risks and controls documentation and processes, including periodic audits
- Partner with other team members in a collaborative environment that requires effective communication, project planning, meeting deadlines and managing expectations
- Work with internal partners (e.g. Engineering, HRIS and Payroll) to ensure processes & systems meet needs of compensation team
- Work with large data sets from various systems and data sources while ensuring data integrity
You’ll Need To Have:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Compensation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field of study
- Superior Microsoft Excel skills, focusing on data consolidation, financial modeling and analysis
- Strong attention to details to ensure accuracy while working with complex large data sets, reports and spreadsheets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and autonomously perform within tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain your decisions to others
- Strong project management experience with the capability of handling expectations that result in action items
We’d Love to See:
- Proficiency in Microsoft VBA, SQL, Alteryx, or similar tools and systems, a plus
- Proficiency in SAP, a plus
Salary Range = 55 - 70 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
