Job Description
Your Career
In this role, you will own the delivery and oversight of the Corporate Renewal Analytics and Customer Subscriptions data foundation for Palo Alto Networks. You will shape the future of Renewal Insights by building certified data models with a team of data engineers and partnering with leadership to institutionalize renewal metrics across the enterprise. Your work will influence corporate planning, forecasting, and strategic insights for our Retain and Expand motions. You will be a key partner to our New Product Initiation (NPI), Business Applications, and R&D teams, overseeing the impact of evolving product offerings on renewals and customer subscriptions. You will develop proficiency in leveraging AI to expedite product discovery & concept creation, improving delivery velocity and reducing friction in unlocking insights across our certified data sets
This is an office role in our HQ, Santa Clara, CA 3 days/week
Your Impact
Product Strategy & Execution:
Create, maintain and drive the product roadmap for corp Renewal Analytics and the Data Foundation for Customer Subscriptions
Own the delivery and quality of product specifications, including business requirements and user stories
Manage the product backlog to drive continuous improvements and product capabilities and features
Collaboration:
Build trusted partnerships with GTM, FP&A and Corp Strategy to institutionalize Renewal Analytics and key metrics (NRR/GRR/Expansion Rate)
Serve as a bridge between IT and cross-functional teams to promote standard interpretations of renewal metrics and data definitions.
Package insights into compelling data visualizations and stories for leadership and practitioner audiences
AI Readiness:
Cultivate an 'AI First' approach to improve time-to-market for new features and reduce friction in generating insights.
Own and manage the Renewals semantic layer and data catalog to enable AI-driven code generation, data quality and business self-serve
Data Governance & Analysis:
Own the data design runbook for new product launches and renewal/upgrade motions to ensure data integrity.
Analyze business inquiries and case trends to identify patterns and influence the product backlog.
Participate in data discovery efforts to inform strategic requests for growth, planning, and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
Your Experience
7+ years of Data/Analytics Product Management experience in a SaaS business, preferably in the High-Tech Enterprise sector
Strong analytics background with hands-on experience using SQL and Data Viz tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to synthesize findings into actionable insights
Experience with technical product ownership and governance of renewal metrics such as Gross Retention, Net Retention, and ACV/ARR Expansion
Proficiency in interrogating data and delivering insights across the Lead-to-Close funnel and Post Sales lifecycle of the Customer Journey
Experience using AI to amplify data discovery and accelerate the product delivery lifecycle
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including Senior leadership.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate product vision and strategy.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $141000 - $229000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
