Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are expertly pressed and finished to meet our high standards of quality. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality or dry cleaning is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines to finish garments, ensuring high-quality results.
- Launder and clean items according to specified procedures.
- Inspect garments for stains or damages prior to pressing and report any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment.
- Assist with cash handling and operate cash registers as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, dry cleaning, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and press garments effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
