Position Summary:
As a Painter/Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, finishing, and maintaining various surfaces throughout the hospital, ensuring that the facility remains clean, professional, and visually appealing. Your role will help create a welcoming environment for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply paints, stains, and finishes to surfaces including walls, doors, furniture, and exterior structures.

• Prepare surfaces for repair, drywall or painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.

• Select and mix paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve desired color and finish.

• Ensure proper maintenance and care of painting tools and equipment.

• Perform minor touch-up painting and surface repairs as needed.

• Work with the Facilities team to complete special projects and maintenance requests.

• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter or finisher, preferably in a commercial setting.

• Knowledge of different painting techniques, tools, and materials.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality workmanship.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
