We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms. Duties
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content visibility.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening techniques.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to track performance metrics and analyze engagement data.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and content ideas.
- Edit videos and photos for use on social media platforms.
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Assist with e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through effective social media strategies.
Requirements
- Strong interest in social media marketing and digital communications.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles; experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, and web analytics tools.
- Experience or coursework in public relations, branding, or digital marketing is preferred.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic photography skills are desirable; video editing experience is a plus.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to social media management.
