Cascade Solar, a leading solar and battery installation company based in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a highly motivated Solar Sales Representative to join our team. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in educating homeowners and businesses about the benefits of investing in solar energy solutions. This position offers an uncapped earning potential through commission-based compensation based on performance and sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough consultations with homeowners and businesses to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of solar energy solutions.
2. Utilize leads provided to you from various sources to educate homeowners and sign them up for installations.
3. Present customized solar designs and proposals tailored to each homeowner's unique requirements, ensuring alignment with Cascade Solar's offerings and industry best practices.
4. Effectively communicate in a friendly and low pressure manner the benefits of solar and energy storage, including cost savings, environmental impact, and energy resilience to homeowners.
5. Collaborate with internal teams, including owners, project management, PV designer, and installation crew to ensure seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, incentives, and regulations related to solar energy in Oregon to provide accurate information and advice to homeowners.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details using the company's CRM system.
Requirements:
1. Passion for renewable energy and a desire to help homeowners and businesses transition to solar power and battery storage.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
3. Previous experience in sales is highly desirable but not required.
4. Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
5. Technical proficiency to understand and communicate solar design concepts effectively.
6. Willingness to travel throughout Oregon for consultations and site visits, as needed.
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
8. Working smartphone and computer
