One805 is seeking a Sponsor Event Assistant to support one of our board members in securing sponsorships for One805LIVE!—our flagship benefit concert that draws global attention and major talent each year. We need someone who’s tenacious, focused, and mission-driven—a true dog with a bone. This role requires strong research instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate our mission with clarity and passion.
About One805:
We support the First Responders of Santa Barbara County by funding equipment, mental wellness resources, and emergency needs. We’ve raised over $6 million to date and generated over 1 billion global media impressions at our annual event.
What You’ll Do:
- Research potential sponsors and brand partners
- Assist with preparation of decks, outreach, and tracking
- Support a high-level board member on sponsorship follow-ups
- Represent the One805 mission with energy and professionalism
- Help turn great leads into meaningful support
What We’re Looking For:
- Great research and communication skills Comfort with outreach and follow-through
- A passion for nonprofit work and live events
- Self-starter energy and flexibility with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of using Excel and creating Google Docs
