We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Governance and Management (EDGM) team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our data governance tooling and automation, operationalizing policies and standards, increasing transparency through reporting, and turning data governance insights into actionable strategies. This role requires a strategic, technical thinker with a strong background in data governance, analytics, and automation.

The Work Itself
- Advance Data Governance Tooling and Automation:
- Lead initiatives to upgrade existing data governance toolsets, focusing on improving user experience, automation capabilities, and risk management.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to design and deploy new data governance tools that reduce manual overhead and support scalable self-service capabilities.
- Conduct thorough assessments of emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to identify opportunities for enhancing data governance maturity. Develop business cases and pilot projects to test these technologies within our framework.
- Increase Transparency through Reporting and Metrics:
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into governance success, adoption rates, and risk management. Ensure these dashboards are aligned with leadership expectations and support strategic decision-making.
- Implement reporting systems that test and validate compliance with data governance policies and standards. Regularly review compliance metrics and work with teams to address any areas of concern.
- Establish mechanisms to track the progress of various functions in meeting data governance requirements. Provide regular updates to leadership on accountability and momentum.
- Turn Data Governance Insights into Actions:
- Utilize data lineage analysis to identify redundancies and gaps in data flows. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, enhancing efficiency and reliability in critical business processes.
- Develop strategies for curating and delivering business-friendly metadata to users, ensuring consistent usage and trust in key data assets. Work with data stewards to maintain high-quality metadata repositories.
- Analyze data quality insights to prioritize remediation efforts. Assign accountability for high-risk issues and integrate resolution tracking into existing workflows to ensure timely and effective problem-solving.
The Skills You Bring
- Experience using data governance tools required
- 3+ years of experience in data governance required
- Background in analytics and automation (e.g., Python, SQL, MS Power Apps, etc.) highly preferred
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards, with the ability to translate these into practical applications.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau with the ability to create impactful dashboards and reports required
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
- Experience with AI and innovative technologies, ideally in data management, including data governance tool evaluation and implementation preferred
- Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
