Shift: Night shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay : $25/hr-$30/hr
Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician plays a crucial role in healthcare settings by ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and aseptic techniques. The technician will work closely with surgical teams to ensure that all necessary tools are available and ready for use in a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before packaging for sterilization.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ensure proper maintenance of these machines.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in sterile processing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CSPDT or CRCST certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
