Strategic Sourcing Manager - Custom Silicon Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for silicon components, including market research, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, and manage existing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and procurement teams, to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and requirements
- Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform sourcing decisions
- Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the silicon supply chain, including market dynamics, supplier knowledge, and technology trends
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation, and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on silicon components
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
- Abundant knowledge of the silicon industry, including market trends, supplier knowledge, and technology developments
- Proven experience in communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience of analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and making informed decisions
- Practical experience of problem-solving and project management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with supplier relationship management software and tools

$116,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
