The Strategy and Operations Jr. Analyst will play a key role in a high-performing strategic operations team and embodies a "Swiss army knife" approach to problem-solving. The Strategy team is focused on delivering solutions to enable hyper-growth while maintaining the highest standards for our clients and residents.
The Role: This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and driving initiatives to optimize efficiency, with a primary focus on project implementation and measurement of results
- Help to maintain our internal knowledge base by identifying gaps in procedural documentation and contributing to the creation of training and reference materials
- Provide support for new program implementation, including tracking progress and fostering clear communication across teams
- Work closely with our technology partner’s product team and bring to life a next generation real estate ERP system, by helping to identify new user requirements, facilitate testing of new features, and maintain a cross-functional roadmap of upcoming features
- Create ad-hoc reporting using excel to support the tracking of KPIs for various teams and initiatives
- Support team projects by learning about operations and assisting stakeholders across functions
- Conduct thorough analysis and research on industry best practices to support decision-making and contribute to team strategies
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Multiple internships or 1–2 years of experience in fields such as consulting, investment banking, project management, or accounting
- Proven track record of contributing to and delivering high-impact projects; experience at the intersection of data, technology, and operations is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience with technical writing or business documentation, including creating procedures or reference materials
- Strategic, analytical, and solution-focused mindset—able to see the bigger picture and implement actionable steps to achieve it
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Smartsheet, SQL, and/or Python is a plus
- Professionalism in working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Prior real estate experience is not required; however, a genuine interest in the field and a willingness to learn are highly valued
