With branches in Tampa, Atlanta, and Nashville, we bring deep expertise in the refrigerated food industry and continue to grow by delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to clients across the region.
Position Summary
We are hiring a Supermarket Refrigeration Foreman with at least 8 years of supervisory or management experience in supermarket refrigeration. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expert knowledge of refrigeration systems, project oversight, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will lead by example in the field and demonstrate strong technical and team management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead field teams in the installation and service of commercial multiplex refrigeration and cold storage DX systems
Interpret and execute refrigeration blueprints and construction plans
Perform and oversee piping, pump downs, and refrigeration system startups
Maintain safety and productivity on job sites, ensuring all work meets quality standards
Supervise journeyman technicians and subcontractors
Communicate effectively with project managers and clients
Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and used
Travel to job sites as required (including some nights, weekends, and out-of-town work)
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of supervisory or management experience in supermarket refrigeration
Extensive knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, pipe fitting, and installation practices
Ability to pipe and pump down both single and multiplex systems
Strong understanding of computer-controlled refrigeration systems
Proficient in reading blueprints and refrigeration layouts
Excellent leadership, communication, and mechanical skills
Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level field experience in refrigeration construction
Type II EPA Certification required; Universal Certification preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must pass a drug-free workplace screening (DFWP)
