Tower Deli Supervisor Job Description

Wage: $15/hour + tips

Shift: Part time. Mon-Sat, some holidays. AM shift: 9am-4pm, PM shift: 4pm-10pm.

Must be able to work at least 3 shifts a week, AM or PM, weekend or holiday availability

Job Summary:

Tower Deli & Grill is looking for a dependable and hard-working Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations. This role supports both the front and back of house—helping the team stay on track, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure every guest has a great experience. If you’re organized, good with people, and ready to step up as a leader, we’d love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the flow of the Tower Deli & Grill during shifts, including the kitchen, on the cash register, and dining area.
  • Jump in where needed—whether that’s making sandwiches, running food, or helping with prep and cleaning.
  • Help open and close the restaurant, following checklists and making sure everything is in order.
  • Support the team during busy times and make sure everyone stays on task.
  • Handle basic customer concerns and make sure every guest leaves happy.
  • Keep things clean, organized, and running on schedule.
  • Help train new employees and support current staff.
  • Keep an eye on inventory and supplies and let the manager know when things are running low.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a restaurant or food service role.
  • Comfortable stepping into a leadership role and helping a team stay focused.
  • Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure.
  • Willing to learn and take initiative.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Food handler’s permit (or willing to get one).
  • Pass a background check.
  • Be at least 16 years old.
