Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Surgery Center Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing essential administrative support within a healthcare environment. This position requires a strong background in office management and financial management, with experience in medical administrative support being highly desirable. The Administrator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, ensuring efficient workflow and communication.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as billing, invoicing, and budget tracking.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate with various departments within the hospital or dental office to facilitate patient care.
- Assist in the training and supervision of administrative staff as needed.
- Utilize software systems such as Eaglesoft for managing patient information and office tasks.
- Support acute care and critical care processes by coordinating necessary documentation and resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Nursing or master's degree required
- Minimum three years of experience in a top administrative or management position either in the ASC or hospital surgical space
- Proven experience in office management within a medical or dental setting is preferred.
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Strong understanding of financial management principles related to healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, including patient scheduling and record keeping.
- Experience working in acute care or critical care environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in using healthcare software systems; experience with Eaglesoft is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with staff and patients.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
