Altisima winery is seeking an energetic tasting room host to join our team! This position will primarily focus on the interactions with guests and members in person and over the phone to ensure all questions are answered in a professional manner. The tasting room host will be the first and last point of contact for guests and therefore requires a positive and outgoing personality.
The tasting room host is responsible for assisting with check-in of guests and members for the tasting room and the members lounge. This will include communication with guests and wine club members. As a tasting room host, you will be required to perform various tasks including, however not limited to, POS sales, merchandise arrangement, greeting and thanking guests, and in person customer service skills with the focus of customer retention.
This job requires you to be on-site and available on the weekends.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Experience with OpenTable
- 2+ years customer service experience
- Excellent typing skills
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced environment
- Phone skills
- Organized, with attention to detail
