Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be proficient in financial software to accurately prepare and file tax returns for our clients.
Duties:
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine appropriate tax deductions
- Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax-related documents
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or in a related role
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools
- Knowledge of Sage or similar software preferred
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately
- Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is a plus
