Position Summary:
The TEC (Top Electrical/Energy Customers) Account Manager is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for managing and growing key TEC accounts. This role partners closely with the Director of Energy to drive strategic account development, influence OEM specifications, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Essential Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage and grow TEC accounts by providing accurate quoting, technical and non-technical support, and exceptional customer service.
· Develop strategic account plans in collaboration with the Director of Energy to drive long-term growth and customer retention.
· Support contract negotiation and forecasting activities with TEC accounts.
· Educate and influence OEMs to specify Sentric Safety Group products by effectively presenting technical products and applications.
· Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams (Services, Sales Operations, Operations, Product Engineering) to ensure alignment and execution.
· Represent the company at industry events and standards committees to build visibility and influence.
· Attend trade shows as necessary to increase awareness of products.
· Routinely track and communicate sales pipeline, sales prospects, and competitive threats.
· Maintain customer records using CRM systems.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position Sentric Safety Group as the leader in the field.
· Travel to customer sites and projects as needed, up to 25% travel.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Halma insurance policy.
· Assist with other projects and issues as needed or requested.
Education and Experience:
Electrical Engineering or technical degree with 7+ years’ experience in sales account management, preferably in electrical distribution, controls, or related industry.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· Technical competence in understanding electrical systems and safety solutions.
· Knowledge of Industrial electrical safety rules and regulations that fall under OSHA, ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and NFPA.
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical distribution and controls drawings.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize workload.
· Ability to follow standard operating procedures, retain required information.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to consistently provide responsive, quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $92,000.00 - $138,900.00 per year
