Mission Objectives ?The VTC Technician - The VTC Technician ? Associate assists in the daily operation and maintenance of AVCOE video teleconferencing and meeting support systems, ensuring seamless execution of scheduled and ad hoc meetings..
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup, testing, and operational readiness checks for VTC equipment in conference rooms per event schedules and daily requirements.
- Support troubleshooting of basic technical issues with VTC, A/V, and computing hardware, escalating unresolved issues to the Intermediate Technician or CSSC.
- Maintain routine maintenance logs, inventory records, and status reports for conference room systems and technology.
- Provide prompt, effective technical support for in-progress meetings, including minor configuration or equipment adjustments as directed.
- Coordinate room setup/reconfiguration according to event needs, ensuring required equipment is present and fully functional.
- Assist with user orientation and training on VTC platforms, as needed.
- Document and report any equipment failures, incidents, or required repairs to the appropriate technical lead for resolution.
Coordinate VTC scheduling, room readiness, and technical support with meeting organizers and the CSSC as required.
